- We spent a large portion of the class pulling together our information on El Nino and La Nina. Both are complex and intriguing global weather phenomena.
- Next class we'll start talking a little more about the oceans.

Wednesday, November 30th
Today in class...
- Today we started our unit on oceanography.
- We talked a bit about the origins of the ocean as well as its composition.
- Our attention focused on the salinity or salt content of the ocean - where it comes from, where it goes, and how it is measured.
- For the last part of the class, we work with our Salinity Lab which we will finish next class period.
